Many children find stairs very exciting, which can be a major source of worry for their parents. With our new, exclusive BabyDan Adjust Pro Stair Gate and BabyDan Adjust Pro Stair Gate Baluster Edition, you can easily keep your child at a safe distance from the stairs in your home.
In addition to the fact that both Adjust Pro gates are specially designed for stairs, the elegant wooden gates have several practical features in common. The stair gates are extra tall (80.5 cm) and made from European beech wood. They can be used in most homes, as their swivelling brackets make it possible to mount the gates even at an oblique angle. This makes it easy to adapt and mount the gates to sloping walls, which are often found in older homes. The stair gates consist of two sections, which makes the width flexible and adjustable.
Perfect for stairs
The gates don't have a bottom edge to trip over, making them especially safe for the top of the stairs. Furthermore, the gates have solid wooden feet for extra stability.
Easy to open with one hand
The gates are easily operated with just one hand in a simple push and pull motion. This means that you don't need to have both hands free when passing the gate.
Skirting boards are not a problem
The design takes skirting boards into account, which means that there's no need for inconvenient DIY solutions. The gates come with a panel for the wall that matches the depth of the skirting boards.
Stair Gate or Stair Gate Baluster Edition?
The two Adjust Pro gates are very similar, but there are however some significant differences between the two versions:
Adjust Pro Stair Gate
The gate is specifically designed to secure stairs, but also fits many doorways. The adjustable design allows the stair gate to fit any opening with a width between 70.5-110 cm when mounted inside the opening/door frame and 65.5-102 cm when mounted on/outside the opening/door frame. The gate is screw-mounted/wall-mounted on both sides.
Adjust Pro Stair Gate Baluster Edition
The gate is specially designed to secure stairs - especially stairs with balusters. It is made with an innovative clamp on one side that securely encloses the stair baluster, while the other side is attached to the wall with screws. This eliminates the need to drill holes in the banister post or balusters. The clamp fits vertical, straight balusters (1.4-6 cm diameter) and square stair posts (5.5-9.5 cm). The adjustable design allows the gate to fit all openings with a width between 74.5-114 cm.
Safety in every detail
At BabyDan, our primary focus is safety. That's why we have integrated many different safety features into all our safety gates - both visible and "invisible".
- We know that children will taste anything - including a safety gate. The BabyDan Adjust Pro stair gates are made from European beech wood. The fittings are made of nylon, which means it's completely safe for your child to put it in their mouth.
- A small lock is included in the package with the gate, so you can decide which direction the gate should open in. The door will then be locked in the other direction. This can easily and quickly be changed if necessary.
- All our safety gates are manufactured in Denmark and comply with the European safety standard EN 1930:2011. The BabyDan Adjust Pro safety gates are tested and approved by TÜV SÜD.
