Safety gates for doors

Prevent your child from entering rooms that are not child friendly

With a door safety gate, you can easily and safely prevent your child from accessing rooms that are not child friendly.

It can also be a good idea to have a safety gate installed on your patio door so that your child cannot get into the garden unsupervised.

Another practical advantage of a door safety gate is that you can keep the doors open without having to worry about your child getting into areas that you do not want them to. It allows you to air out the house without worrying about your child running out.

Why is it important with a door safety gate?

If you need to prevent your child from entering a room, a safety gate is a brilliant and safe solution.

You can use a safety gate on pretty much all kinds of doors, no matter how wide or narrow they might be, and it does not matter if it is a patio door or a door leading into a room either. Just keep in mind that BabyDan’s safety gates are meant to be used indoors.

Also keep in mind that if you want to install a safety gate on a door, it is important that you choose a safety gate that is intended for that very purpose.

This is because it matters whether a safety gate is to be installed on a door, at the top of the stairs, at the bottom of the stairs, around a fireplace or if it is to be used as a room divider.

Comprehensive security

No matter which safety gate you decide to install on a door, you can be completely certain that the safety gate does not contain any kinds of harmful substances.

In fact, all of BabyDan’s safety gates are so safe that your child can easily suck on them without getting chemicals and other unwanted substances into the body.

What type of safety gates can be used?

You can use either a pressure mounted or wall mounted safety gate for a door. Both are equally safe, so your choice will depend on which safety gate you like best.

If, for example, you are renting a small apartment, a pressure mounted safety gate would be a smart choice, as then you do not have to drill into the door frames or walls. If you own your own home, then a wall mounted safety gate would work well if you know that you will be using the safety gate for several years.

Remember to measure!

You must always remember to measure the door’s dimensions (what we call “the opening measurements”) that the safety gate is to cover. This ensures that your safety gate can fit, and it also ensures that you can install it correctly, so that it works as intended and keeps your child safe.

When installing a door safety gate, you have to measure the distance between the door frames. The vast majority of safety gates need to be installed inside the door frames.

However, some safety gates can also be installed on the outside. This applies to BabyDan EBBA, BabyDan ALMA, BabyDan Guard Me, BabyDan FlexiFit, BabyDan ELIN and all BabyDan OLAF and BabyDan Flex.
